Position Overview

  • Accountable for conducting a variety of imaging examinations within Avera Sacred Heart Hospital to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Ensures patient safety and maintains high-quality imaging standards by adhering to ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) principles.
  • Follows regulations established by the State Health Department and complies with departmental protocols.
  • Processes imaging studies electronically to guarantee prompt and accurate reporting.
  • Oversees the daily functionality of radiology equipment, including routine cleaning, inventory management, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Licensure/Certifications:

  • ARRT certification or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Work Schedule:

  • PRN – Casual/Fill-in as required.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this role is outlined below. Actual pay rate will be based on experience.

  • $37.75 per hour
