Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nursing Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through effective oversight of daily operations and staffing within the unit/department.
The Manager is tasked with monitoring and evaluating nursing care delivery in alignment with established policies and procedures, holding staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of organizational objectives.
Qualifications Required:
- Current Florida RN license or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
- Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Founded in 1974, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care facility offering a broad spectrum of surgical and medical services.
