Under the direction of the Hospital/Regional Security Manager, you will supervise the effective day-to-day operations of the Security Department, overseeing a team of security officers to maintain a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers to ensure effective coverage and response to security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify potential security risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing guidance and support to security officers and other hospital personnel.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
