Automation Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to provide technical support to automation engineers in designing, building, and testing automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and technical experience, with excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and administrative support to automation engineering, including data collection and data entry.
- Assist in the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Review, revise, and draft standard operating procedures, including work instructions and process documents.
- Train operators and other employees on new equipment and/or new processes.
- Troubleshoot automation equipment prior to and during production.
- Assemble and troubleshoot electrical control systems used in automated machinery.
- Manage workflow of 3D printers.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; preferred Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing/technical experience required; preferably in a technician capacity.
- Strong statistical, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Technical writing experience (SOPs, work instructions, safety documents).
- Proficient in MS office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
