Pali Momi Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cook to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, nutritious meals to patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food according to recipes and production sheets, ensuring that our foods meet organizational standards of excellence for quality, freshness, taste, and appearance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food and Nutrition Services team to ensure accurate diet modifications for patients as needed.
  • Perform a variety of general preparation and food service activities, including tray assembly and delivery, working in the cafeteria, cashiering, ware washing, assisting with pantry functions, nourishment activities, and catering.

Requirements

  • Post-high school vocational/specialized training or equivalent experience.
  • Degree or vocational training in institutional food preparation or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years experience in all phases of institutional food preparation/production.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServSafe Certification.
