Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

ProMedica Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Allentown. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents and supervising nursing personnel to ensure the highest level of care.

Job Summary:

This LPN position is a staff position that requires direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for caregivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care delivery, ensuring that resident's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care
  • Coordinate care delivery to ensure resident's needs are met
  • Read and write English in an understandable manner
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years clinical experience
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including dementia population preferred
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
