Job Summary

Serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse for a skilled nursing facility, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform designated job duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse, maintaining the LPN scope of practice.
  • Participate in the development of individualized interdisciplinary plans of care, addressing biophysical, psycho-social, and age-specific needs.
  • Implement plans of care, monitoring patient outcomes and reporting abnormal findings to the Assistant Clinical Manager/Supervisor.
  • Administer medications according to established standards and policies.
  • Document patient status according to unit-specific procedures.
  • Maintain educational requirements as required by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Document according to federal and state regulations.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care facility.
