Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Select Medical. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in accordance with physician direction.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients.
  • Delegate and direct therapy services to other staff members as needed.
  • Ensure effective return to community activities through design of functional treatment programs.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care and therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Current state license or eligibility for state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in acute care or inpatient rehab.
