Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at First Choice Community Health Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Conduct laboratory tests, collect and process specimens, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification and CPR training.
