Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment, including service calls to customer facilities.
  • Inspect equipment during the repair process to identify potential issues and determine additional repairs needed.
  • Complete jobs within expected timeframes, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Document work performed on repair orders, providing clear and concise comments.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services, including Department of Transport Truck inspections and safety systems checks.
  • Repair and replace diesel particulate filters, wheel seals, and wheel bearings.
  • Perform tire inspections and replacements, including mounts and dismounts.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including basic troubleshooting and use of multi-meters.
  • Repair and replace starters, alternators, and satellite systems.
  • Diagnose and repair seats, radios, and other components.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently and 95 lbs. frequently, with proper training and equipment.
