Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

A Diesel Mechanic is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers while upholding high standards of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical service to vehicles and equipment
  • Performing general and detailed repairs on all trucks, engines, and components
  • Overhauling gas or diesel engines
  • Installing injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, and replacing transmissions and other parts
  • Examining protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, making adjustments as needed
  • Lubricating moving parts and driving repaired vehicles to verify conformance to specifications
  • Tagging all warranty parts and returning them to the warranty clerk
  • Attending training classes and staying updated on factory technical bulletins
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers to enhance overall customer satisfaction

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years mechanic or diesel tech experience in a dealership or related truck service facility
