Legal Secretary

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage case files and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems, adhering to confidentiality and legal ethical standards.
- Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings with clients and court personnel, utilizing effective communication and time management skills.
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information for cases, utilizing legal management software and tools.
- Draft correspondence and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Assist in billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Stay updated on legal procedures, terminology, and compliance regulations, applying knowledge to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal ethical standards.
