Overview
Medical City Arlington is seeking a dedicated Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Respiratory Care in overseeing the operation of the respiratory department, maximizing resources and ensuring efficient patient care.
- Perform all services related to patient treatment, considering the age and condition of each patient.
- Contribute to the hospital's public perception by providing exceptional patient care and service.
- Perform additional tasks and activities as assigned, demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to responsibilities.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) or State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification is required.
