The Audio-Visual Equipment Installation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of audio-visual equipment in various settings. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Cable Management: Pull, terminate, and dress cables to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Equipment Installation: Install and configure audio-visual equipment, including video routers, switches, and cameras.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex audio-visual equipment and provide technical assistance to clients.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts, including recording of serial model numbers.
- Documentation: Complete and update daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status.
- Customer Service: Partner with coworkers and management to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Education: High School Diploma, technical trade school, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in audio-visual integration technical environment.
- Skills: Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers. Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams.
The primary working environment is an indoor setting. This role requires 100% travel to reach project locations. Employees working in hazardous conditions and areas are required to comply with all applicable safety provisions and to use PPE.
