Position Overview

We are seeking full-time Emergency Veterinary Technicians to work overnight shifts. This role is ideal for individuals eager to enhance their expertise in a dynamic setting where each day presents new challenges.

As part of our collaborative hospital environment, you will have the chance to train alongside both specialty and emergency veterinarians. New team members will be paired with a mentor to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience. This is a full-time hourly position, requiring either three twelve-hour shifts or four ten-hour shifts weekly, including one weekend shift and some holiday coverage.

Compensation Details

  • Hourly wages are based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
  • Shift differentials are available.
  • $2/hour increase for shifts after 6 PM on weekdays and weekend day shifts.
  • $3.50/hour increase for shifts after 6 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to a structured training program.
  • Maintain composure and efficiency in high-pressure situations; demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with clients in alignment with our mission to provide outstanding veterinary care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a productive, positive, and respectful workplace. All technical staff must be capable of standing, bending, lifting, and/or kneeling for the duration of a 12-hour shift, with the ability to lift at least twenty-five pounds.

Qualifications

While prior emergency experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Certified Veterinary Technicians or those eligible for licensure will receive priority consideration.
