Northern Manhattan Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a diverse and dynamic STR/LTC facility located in the heart of Manhattan, offering a unique opportunity to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator RN.

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

The successful candidate will have a Registered Nurse (RN) License and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of quality systems, clinical practice guidelines, specialty programs, regulations and enforcement, and clinical safe business practices.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Oversseeing the implementation and documentation of the orientation plan for nursing staff and contractors
  • Collaborating with leadership and assisting in planning, coordinating, and conducting training related to federal, state, local, and company requirements
  • Providing ongoing education related to the quality management system and quality improvement initiatives to facility staff
  • Initiating and monitoring performance improvement plans in the quality management system
  • Participating in clinical risk identification, planning, and processing improvement initiatives
