- Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images produced.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal scanner performance and image quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients.
- 2+ years of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- Current certification in computed tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The ability to lift and move patients safely is essential.
