Job Summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled PCB Assembler to join our team in a temp to perm opportunity. As a PCB Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble PCBs by correctly placing components, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare PCBs for wave and selective soldering, adhering to production schedules.
  • Modify parts for assembly as needed, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inspect work for accuracy, meeting departmental goals and adhering to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Inspection and Test Departments to ensure quality, following the company's Quality System.
  • Participate in quality audits, suggesting process improvements and reporting equipment maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • Preferred Experience: One year of assembly experience in electronic manufacturing or a related field; entry-level candidates welcome.
  • Preferred Skills: Two to three years of experience as a PCB assembler, high school diploma or GED, soldering experience, and familiarity with hand, surface mount, and through-hole assembly methods.
  • Essential Skills: Excellent PCB assembly skills, knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards, proficiency in English, and ability to follow verbal instructions.
Working Conditions
  • Lifting and Transporting: Lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Physical Demands: Sit, stand, reach, bend, and walk frequently, use magnifying aids and assembly tools as needed, and wear eye protection and gloves as required.
