POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist independently employs established quality assurance protocols and recognized methodologies to effectively plan and execute assignments with minimal direct supervision from the Quality Assurance Manager. Responsibilities include oversight activities, managing operating experience and lessons learned processes, nonconformance and incident reporting, safety and health support, and other designated tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and coordinate quality assurance oversight activities, including the development and issuance of an annual integrated oversight plan, conducting quality management assessments, and maintaining performance documentation.
- Manage the Operating Experience (OE) and Lessons Learned processes, ensuring unresolved issues are escalated to management and that program effectiveness is reported accurately.
- Lead the nonconformance, incident, occurrence, and enforcement reporting processes, ensuring timely completion and tracking of corrective action plans.
- Support the implementation of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and Voluntary Protection Program, prioritizing safety in all operations.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to quality and safety, providing guidance and mentorship to team members on quality standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and health requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and halt work if unsafe conditions arise.
- Engage in safety initiatives and report any injuries promptly.
- Participate in work planning to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or technology (or equivalent education and experience).
- A minimum of eight years of experience in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control field.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Effective communication skills for presentations and discussions.
- Strong customer service orientation and proficiency in word processing.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across various organizational levels.
- Capability to challenge existing processes and adapt to feedback.
- Proficient in writing reports and correspondence.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and evaluate various factors.
- Demonstrated judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques.
- Skilled in identifying strategies for problem resolution and data analysis.
