Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at North Wind Dynamics, LLC. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing established quality assurance operating procedures and accepted methods and practices to plan and carry out assignments without direct technical assistance from the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and issue annual integrated oversight plan
  • Perform Quality management and independent assessments in accomplishment of plan
  • Maintenance of associated performance documents
  • Coordinate and provide oversight of the OE program
  • Facilitate the identification, documenting, sharing and use of internal and external OE information
  • Forward OE and requests for feedback to Senior Managers as appropriate
  • Coordinates the nonconformance, incident, occurrence, and enforcement (Noncompliance Tracking System (NTS) reporting processes and databases
  • Supports safety and health in implementation of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and Voluntary Protection Program
  • Mentors other personnel on quality and safety requirements and methods of accomplishment
  • Demonstrates awareness and implementation of applicable environmental, safety, and health (ES&H) requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technology (or equivalent education and work experience may be considered)
  • At least eight years of experience in the QA/QC field
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, and collaborate with peers, management, other department personnel, vendors, other contractors, client, and customers at all organizational levels to successfully meet shifting needs
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
  • Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and other documents, and deal with abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to identify, document and provide corrective recommendations for root cause issues
  • Experience in balancing requirements of and prioritizing activities associated with the successful execution of multiple projects
  • Ability to operate office copier, fax, calculation, telephone and computer are required
  • Manual dexterity abilities required performing calculations using computer or calculator
  • Must be capable of wearing standard personal protective equipment (hard hat, gloves, coveralls, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes) as needed
