Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Registered Nurse in providing healthcare-related services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities:
* Provide healthcare-related services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities
* Assist the Registered Nurse in developing and implementing individualized care plans
* Supervise, train, and direct support staff
* Promote positive behavior and interactions with individuals receiving services
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications:
* Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the New York State Department of Education
* One year of related experience
* Ability to read and interpret documents
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
* Ability to effectively communicate with and observe individuals, staff, and other individuals involved in the support and care of those we serve

Physical Demands:
* Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or equipment, reach with hands and arms, communicate, see and hear
* Occasionally required to sit
* Frequently required to lift, transfer, and/or move up to 50 pounds
