Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the activities of the staff to achieve identified patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Ensure the completion of nursing documentation of patient care to meet standards of care.
- Direct the assignment of staff based on patient classification and individual staff member's job description and skill level.
- Provide direct patient care when appropriate due to patient acuity or to maintain sufficient patient/staff ratio.
- Provide unit leadership, assuming responsibility for management towards quality of patient care and milieu and management of resources towards fiscal viability of Hospital.
Requirements:
- Registered Nursing license in Massachusetts is required.
- 1 year of RN experience is required.
- BSN is required and MSN is preferred.
- Experience in psychiatric and mental health nursing and CPR certifications are required.
- Demonstrated leadership in prior experience.
