Busser Assistant

**Restaurant Busser Role**

At the Irish Restaurant Company, our Busser is a key member of our dining room team responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. As a Busser, you will be responsible for clearing tables, resetting the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• 
  
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized.
  
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and communicating effectively with the server and hostess team.
  
• Assist servers with food delivery, especially during peak periods, to ensure efficient service.
  
• Help bartenders with ice, beer, and stock needs throughout the shift, and assist with replenishment at the end of the shift.
  
• Inspect the assigned restroom every 30 minutes, cleaning and replenishing as needed to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  
• Remove linen bags and trash as needed from the bar and dining room, and stack chairs on tables at the end of the evening.
  
• Respond to guest requests, communicate effectively with the server and hostess team, and ensure efficient seating and table utilization.
  
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  

**Requirements:**

• 
  
• MUST BE 16 or OLDER
  
• No previous restaurant experience required
  
• Have working knowledge of English to facilitate communication with managers and other staff
  
• Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests
  
• Be able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
  
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
  

**Additional Information:**

MUST be available weekends and Sunday holidays, including Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.
