Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Specialist to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provide perioperative care to patients, including preparing them for surgery and assisting with post-operative recovery.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to ensure that all procedures are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, with a strong background in perioperative care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
