Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Specialist to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a key member of our surgical department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and organizing the operating room for surgical procedures
  • Provide perioperative care for patients, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative support
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
  • Participate in hospital initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited surgical technology program preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical service specialty, with a minimum of 150 cases performed in that specialty
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required; LVN or BCLS certification preferred
