Job Description

**Behavioral Intervention Specialist - Aspire Higher**

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team at ACLD. As a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and implement personalized behavioral support plans to increase adaptive skills and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services
  • Design and deliver training programs for staff on behavioral interventions and support strategies

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology
  • Minimum of five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including behavioral support plan development and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral analysis and support strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
