Position Overview:
The primary goal is to deliver comprehensive medical care/services to patients within the realm of hematology and oncology. These services are rendered in alignment with the regulations, guidelines, and policies set forth by relevant medical authorities.
Key Responsibilities:

- Educates and counsels patients based on their medical requirements.
- Maintains active licensure and fulfills continuing medical education obligations as mandated by state law.
- Collaborates with fellow physicians regarding patient treatment plans and therapies.
- Participates in on-call duties as scheduled and refers patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
- Performs responsibilities in accordance with established protocols as defined by medical governing bodies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (Doctorate degree).
- Completion of residency in the relevant specialty area.
Licensure and Certifications Required:
- Valid state medical license, DEA registration, and CDS Board certification in the specialty area.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Employees in this role may encounter exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Medium work. Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
