Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Manager, the role involves providing essential clerical support within the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate departmental records and files.
  • Preparing necessary documents and correspondence.
  • Organizing and managing inventory of office supplies and forms.
  • Assisting with the documentation of patient charts.
  • Facilitating patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verifications.
  • Obtaining necessary authorizations and referrals for appointments.
Qualifications

Education & Training:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration is preferred.

Experience:
2-3 years of experience in a medical office or similar environment is essential. Candidates should possess computer proficiency, a general understanding of medical terminology, and prior experience with insurance verification and scheduling. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is advantageous.
