Position Summary:
Davis Brothers HVAC is on the lookout for a Senior Plumbing Technician to spearhead our newly established Plumbing division. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Oversee plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines.
    • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are integrated effectively within overall building designs.
  2. Installation and Repair:
    • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
    • Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify and resolve plumbing issues.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in plumbing codes to maintain compliance.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to plumbing staff.
    • Train new hires on plumbing practices, safety measures, and company protocols.
  5. Problem Resolution:
    • Diagnose plumbing issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Respond to emergency plumbing situations promptly and efficiently.
  6. Client Interaction:
    • Engage with clients to assess their plumbing needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professionalism and quality service.
  7. Documentation:
    • Keep accurate records of plumbing activities, including work orders and materials used.
    • Prepare detailed reports and estimates for plumbing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Valid Master Plumber license preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in plumbing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to address plumbing challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • Leadership: Capable of leading a team and providing training.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Work Environment:

  • Work will be conducted in various commercial and residential settings.
  • Standard hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with on-call duties required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate between $28 and $40.
