Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a researcher to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their field by participating in research activities, managing laboratory tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and complex laboratory tasks and procedures under direct supervision, developing technical expertise in one or more areas relevant to research projects.
- Participate in research activities involving all aspects of the research process, including investigation, testing/validation of results, and reporting findings.
- Perform a variety of experimental protocols and procedures to support the objectives of laboratory research projects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results.
- Assist in identifying and troubleshooting unexpected results.
- Order laboratory supplies and support laboratory operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field required.
- One (1) year of research laboratory experience required.
- Familiarity with routine laboratory procedures, experimental protocols, and overall lab organization.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Superior interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
The estimated salary for this role is $26.65 - $43.31 per hour based on the Los Angeles location and industry standards.
