Product Development Manager

Roehm is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at the Roehm Innovation Center. As a key member of our Medical Segment team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating product innovation and application development for the Medical Segment globally.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Chemistry, Polymer/Material Science, or Chemical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in product & process development/application technology, preferably in the field of Medical and Automotive Plastics. You will have a strong background in R&D innovation project and pipeline management, as well as experience in polymer formulation, processing, and characterization.
Key responsibilities will include proposing new R&D initiatives, managing and executing on innovation project pipelines to drive innovation and commercial successes. You will also provide new product and application development for new acrylic molding compounds to support the Global Medical Segment and Automotive and LEOD segment in Region Americas (RAM).
As a Product Development Manager, you will work closely with Application Development Engineers and Strategic Account Managers to qualify acrylic molding compounds products for new customers' opportunities. You will also generate intellectual property to strengthen company commercial advantages and establish and strengthen product innovation and application database for Molding Compounds RAM.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral presentation skills to both internal and external audiences, as well as good software skills with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. SAP experience is a plus. You will also have a quality and safety mindset and be able to travel up to 20% domestic or international.
