Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Completion of Certified Peer Specialist Parent training as mandated.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have personal experience parenting a child with serious emotional or mental health challenges.
  • Ability to connect with youth and families within the mental health system.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Understanding of mental health conditions and available support services.
  • Commitment to recovery and willingness to assist others in their recovery journeys.
