Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will possess experience in the chemical fertilization or pesticide sector, working closely with our commercial clientele. We are looking for a proactive individual with a consistent employment record, who is genuinely passionate about horticulture. This role involves applying treatments to lawns, trees, and shrubs.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and applying care products for turf and trees/shrubs, ensuring compliance with material labels and documentation.
  • Administering fertilizers and insecticides to lawns and ornamental plants in accordance with established schedules, safety protocols, and label guidelines.
  • Transporting company vehicle to various client sites.
  • Working autonomously.
  • Mixing and distributing horticultural chemicals as necessary to maintain optimal growth conditions for garden plants.
  • Engaging with clients, both verbally and in writing, to discuss our services and address any concerns regarding their properties.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least 1 year of experience in chemical or spray applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with MSDS and chemical application practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset to exceed client expectations.
  • Capability to identify various pest issues and apply appropriate solutions.
  • Adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • RT Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RT Certification.
  • 3A & 3B certifications preferred.
  • Experience in project management within budgetary constraints.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Commitment to operating safely and efficiently at all times.
  • Pesticide applicator's license or in progress.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
