Position Overview: The Procurement Agent plays a crucial role in negotiating with suppliers and trade partners. This involves reviewing contractual terms, establishing pricing, and managing supplier relationships to ensure alignment with our division's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough local supplier negotiations and contracting based on established criteria such as cost, quality, and service.
- Oversee supplier performance metrics within the division, ensuring compliance with agreements and sourcing guidelines.
- Address and resolve issues related to trade partner activities.
- Maintain essential databases for developing cost and quantity estimates.
- Verify cost estimates using comparative analysis techniques.
- Monitor Trade Partner Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and validate their accuracy.
- Analyze data submissions from trade partners and assess the impact of commodity price fluctuations.
- Communicate finalized estimates to construction teams and vendors.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Manage trade category costs effectively using established tools and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to PulteGroup's supplier management processes.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred ISCM accreditation.
Experience Required:
- At least 1 year of relevant functional experience.
- Understanding of the financial implications of purchasing decisions.
- Experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills in a transparent cost environment.
- Ability to foster and enhance vendor partnerships.
- Knowledge of construction processes.
- Experience in a continuous improvement setting.
Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $65,800 - $82,200.
- Eligible for annual incentive compensation.
