We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of our advanced security management system. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and delivering essential components of our cutting-edge AWS service.

Our team's mission is to help customers manage their network security complexity with ease. We're looking for an experienced engineer to help us build a new, greenfield product that radically improves on this mission by leveraging GenAI to help customers meet their security needs.

This project is a novel application of AI that goes beyond current industry standards. As a key developer, you will contribute significantly to the development lifecycle, influencing the design, development, building, deployment, and support of our cutting-edge AWS service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement key features of the security management system using Rust and/or Java
  • Collaborate with the development team to deliver global, highly available, and scalable services
  • Apply security techniques to enhance the system's defenses
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technology into the security management process

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
