About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Littleton. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups of instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Pass items to surgeons and nurses as needed.
  • Prepare and move patients, and sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms.
  • Use the physician preference card to identify supplies and equipment needed for scheduled surgical or emergency procedures.
  • Update preference cards with any necessary changes.
  • Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures.
  • Prepare solutions and medications used, and properly label and report amounts used for charting.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
  • Current registration as a Surgical Technologist (Department of Regulatory Agencies) is required, unless performing Surgical Technologist functions within the scope of another verified clinical Colorado license, certification, or registration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting.
  • Experience in a specialty field.
