Position Overview

The Junior Technician for Hot & Cold Equipment plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and branch personnel regarding repair statuses.
  • Complete service documentation in accordance with company protocols.
  • Manage inventory of parts stocked in service vehicles.
  • Uphold the standards of service vehicles, tools, and uniforms as set by Tech24.
  • Serve as a role model for less experienced technicians by exemplifying company values.
  • Adhere to all company policies, particularly those related to safety.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Preferred experience of 1+ years in a related field.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Reliable and capable of working independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Possession of standard hand tools relevant to the industry.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
  • Availability for on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn new methods and techniques.
  • EPA Universal certification is a plus.
