Computer Numerical Control Programmer

Job Summary:
Applied Medical is a leading medical device company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in the healthcare field. We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team and contribute to the development and manufacturing of advanced surgical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines and/or 7 axis Mill Turn and Bar Fed Mills.
- Maintain quality standards and schedules.
- Follow instructions and standard procedures.
- Interface with engineering, department supervisors, and quality control inspection, coworkers, and upper management.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machines or lathes.
- Working knowledge of a variety of materials: stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, tool steels, etc.
- Experience in Autodesk FeatureCAM or equivalent software.
- Ability to hold tight tolerances.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work overtime, if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in machining hardened tool steels.
- Experience with molds and mold components.
- Experience in machining multiple grades of stainless steel.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role is $25-$35/hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range compensation package during your hiring process.
The total compensation package for this position may also include bonuses and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
