Oncology Physician Assistant

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our team at Chesapeake Oncology Hematology Associates. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and nurses to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Administer quality patient care in a low-stress environment
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognosis
- Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment
- Discuss cases with physicians
- Provide patient education
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Master's degree with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant degree
- Current Maryland NP / PA licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
- DEA License & CDS license (controlled drugs substance)
- Previous oncology and hematology experience preferred
