Premier Research is seeking a highly skilled Executive Director, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies transform life-changing ideas and breakthrough science into new medicines, devices, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to provide policy and compliance support to the CFO for M&A, banking, and other Corporate Finance needs.
  • Engage and partner with business stakeholders to provide informative, useful, and analytical information to improve and enhance business results.
  • Provide monthly and annual financial reporting, forecasting, and insightful commentary and analysis of corporate financial results.
  • Perform analytics to explain trends and variances in financial statements and drivers behind the forecast and underlying assumptions.
  • Set and communicate annual budget and monthly forecast timetables, processes, and assumptions to establish a consistent planning and forecasting approach.
  • Provide coaching and general management support as required and oversee staff development needs and provide counseling.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in financial, business, or scientific-related field from an accredited institution or relevant work experience.
  • Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) or demonstrable relevant work experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive financial management experience.
  • Experience with FP&A within CRO strongly preferred; M&A considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of US and IFRS Generally Accepted Accounting Practice.
