Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Nurse to join our team. As an Intensive Care Nurse at Aequor Technologies, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown Unit.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients who are stable enough to leave the intensive care unit.
* Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, promptly identifying and addressing any changes in status.
* Administer medications, including IV drips and infusions, as prescribed by physicians, and perform complex nursing procedures.
* Assist with the transition of patients from the ICU to the PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring continuity of care and smooth handoff.
* Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and discharge planning, promoting understanding and compliance.
* Perform regular assessments and document patient information accurately, maintaining up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
* Current RN state license in good standing.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Stepdown Unit, or related critical care nursing field.
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
* Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation
The estimated gross pay for this position is $2061.06 per week.
