As a Registered Nurse in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Our NICU is a state-of-the-art facility that provides comprehensive care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and promote patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- 1 year of NICU experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NRP certification.
