Job Description

Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavior Interventionist Trainer to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical training and post-training support to new hires and current staff. This includes implementing treatment plans with the oversight and guidance of the BCBA/Licensed Individual/Clinical Director, providing competency-based initial and ongoing training to behavior interventionists, and having training and experience in providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including pervasive developmental disorder, intellectual disability, autism, or other delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical training and post-training support to new hires and current staff
  • Implement treatment plans with the oversight and guidance of the BCBA/Licensed Individual/Clinical Director
  • Provide competency-based initial and ongoing training to behavior interventionists
  • Have training and experience in providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including pervasive developmental disorder, intellectual disability, autism, or other delays

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, human development, special education, social work, or other related field
  • Experience in training, supporting, and managing entry-level direct care staff or behavior interventionists
  • Experience as a Clinical Supervisor in the field of behavior analysis is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services
  • Experience with staff training and supervision
  • Must be proficient with DTT, ABA Program/Goal Development, ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures, and Staff Training
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
  • Current RBT/BCAT preferred
