The Engineering Project Coordinator will play a vital role in providing engineering, project management, and construction oversight related to the District's generation assets. This newly created position will focus on delivering project management support, including preparing quotes and bids for significant construction, maintenance, and repair initiatives, as well as handling permitting processes in alignment with District policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSEE preferred) along with 5 to 7 years of experience in construction or project management within a utility or generation facility environment.

Desirable Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Engineering
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Construction Management Professional (CMP) certification

Work Environment:
The conditions outlined here represent the typical environment an employee may encounter while fulfilling the essential functions of this role. Standard working hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Please note that remote work is not an option for this position. Most work will take place in the field at our hydro power facilities and other District-owned generation sites. Project support may be required outside of standard working hours.
