We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Director to join our team at White Lodging. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping functions and staff to ensure that our guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the property are clean and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the property meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Manage and control housekeeping budgets and expenses to ensure that we are operating within our financial targets.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that housekeeping staff have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and report on housekeeping performance metrics, including guest satisfaction and cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Minimum of 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
