Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Barista, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming and connecting with each customer, recommending products, and accommodating purchases to enhance the customer experience.
  • Prepare high-quality beverages in accordance with company standards, demonstrating knowledge and practice of safe food handling.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance during every shift, adhering to merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
  • Contribute to store profitability by following proper cash handling procedures, inventory management, and stock guidelines.
Requirements
  • Preferable supervisory and/or barista experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have valid identification.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
  • Special skills: customer-focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual max.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
