**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Primoris Renewable Energy. This role is responsible for setting up jobs, training, and cross-training Field Engineers. The Project Controls Lead will oversee progress reporting, cost control analysis, project cost forecasting, change management, and contingency management. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead, Mentor, and Develop Field Engineers: You will lead and mentor Field Engineers in their job functions, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Participate in New Job Setup and Oversee Progress Reporting: You will participate in new job setup and oversee progress reporting, cost control analysis, project cost forecasting, change management, and contingency management.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager: You will collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure projects stay within scope and various project-related activities are completed on time.
  • Train and Develop Field Engineers and Project Administrators: You will train and develop Field Engineers and Project Administrators in Primoris processes and job functions.
  • Track Project Progress and Financial Status: You will track project progress and financial status, analyzing costs, efficiency, and production.
  • Support Project Manager and Site Manager: You will support the Project Manager and Site Manager with change orders, project budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate Project Update Meetings: You will coordinate project update meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email) and Visio.
  • Effective communication, motivation, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer an estimated annual salary of $95,000-$105,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and competencies. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid company holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, short-term/long-term disability, 401(k) with matching contribution, and straight-time overtime opportunities.
