Market of Choice is seeking a skilled Cook to join our Central Kitchen team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, and entrees, for our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and production schedules.
- Consult with the Production Manager to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain inventory levels.
- Assist the Chef/Catering Manager with ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products.
- Train new kitchen workers and assistants.
- Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements.
- Have a current Food Handler Card.
- A minimum of 1 year food prep experience.
- At least 1 year heavy food production experience.
- A valid Oregon Driver's License (with a clean driving record).
