Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance and inspection of anesthesia equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Patient Care: Assist anesthesiologists with patient transport, technical support, and patient care during the induction process.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Assist with monitoring patient vital signs and documenting anesthesia-related information.
- Supply Management: Maintain an adequate inventory of anesthesia supplies and equipment, and ensure that all necessary items are stocked and available.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Anesthesia Technician Certification (ASATT) preferred.
- Experience: One to two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician; ability to operate basic/standard anesthesia equipment.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; basic life support certification (BLS) required.
