We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Support Registered Dietitian Lead to join our Clinical Nutrition Services team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient food and nutrition services, ensuring the highest level of care and quality for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nutrition Committee to develop and implement nutrition support policies and protocols.
- Act as a consultant to staff Registered Dietitians for patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
- Monitor the nutrition care of patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition and oversee the review of dietitian nutrition orders.
- Develop and maintain statistics for patients on enteral/parenteral nutrition.
- Participate in nutrition support research activities and contribute to the development of education materials.
- Assist with the evaluation of enteral formulary and make recommendations for change.
- Perform nutrition assessments for patients at all age levels and work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to develop and implement clinical initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required.
- 5 years' experience in parenteral nutrition management required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Current NH Dietitian license required.
- Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certified Nutrition Support Clinician credential required to be obtained within 1 year and maintained.
